The former Viet Cong Commando’s secret weapons storage once located in the middle of Saigon’s city center.
This weapon’s storage is where the commandos of Team 5 convened to gather weapons for the Tet Offensive on January 30th, 1968, leading to the most violent phase of the Vietnam War. Many of the weapons smuggled into and concealed here remain on display in their original state; in 1988, the previously undetected weapons cache was recognized as a National Historical Site.
