The perfect way to get away from the crowds when travel to Japan resumes, teamLab’s latest installation transforms the forests of Musashino into an interactive multimedia space where art, technology & nature have become fully intertwined. Amongst the towering trees of the forest, a sea of acorn-shaped ‘ovoids’ dot the wooded hills, reflecting the light of day while also responding to touch; at night, the trees themselves come alive in a dazzling display of light that constantly shifts when a visitor is nearby, a visual reminder of the eternal connection between man & nature
