Set to open mid-April 2020, the building of the Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu, converted from a historic schoolhouse, has been restored and reopened as part of a proposal to use the grounds of the former Kiyomizu Elementary School.
Located at an eight minutes’ walk from Kiyomizudera Temple, the hotel's floors 1-4 retain the impression of an old school building with spacious gardens & rooftops, 48 guest rooms converted from renovated classrooms.
