Located just off the southern coast of Bali, Nusa Penida is a paradisiacal retreat that has gone mostly un-noticed to the outside world. This far-removed island is home to hidden waterfalls, massive caves-turned-rock bridges, spectacularly-formed natural volcanic pools and throngs of exotic, and endangered, bird species placed here as a means of evading poachers.
