Hydrangea Festival at Mishima Skywalk

From an elevation of nearly 1400 feet, a traditional visit to the Mishima Skywalk offers unrivaled views of Mt. Fuji & the Suruga Bay, but should you visit during the summer months, your visit will include spellbinding views of more than 13,000 hydrangeas (of more than 200 varieties) in full bloom.

As part of the Hydrangea Festival (one of the largest near Tokyo), a 2km promenade on the bridge’s north side is transformed into a fairy tale-esque expanse of picture-perfect blue hydrangeas straight out of a Disney film.
