Don traditional Vietnamese farmer clothing in preparation to enter the rice fields. Your tour guide will explain the details of wet rice cultivation and answer any questions that you might have about the process. Watch as the farmer demonstrates ploughing the paddy traditionally with a water buffalo. The farmer will guide you in how to transplant rice seedlings which will eventually mature and be harvested.If you wish, you may embark on a short ride on a water buffalo and experience these gentle animals up close.Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a meal with the farmer and the farmer's family.
