A one-hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter gives you an up close and personal experience of Hanoi's Old Quarter. In the early 13th century, guilds evolved from the collection of tiny workshop villages which clustered around the walled Palace. Artisans and guilds lived and worked together to produce and sell a wide variety of items. As time progressed this area became a collection of narrow streets each named after the product sold, including Silk Street and Gold Street. You will have some free time to explore the Old Quarter.
