Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its several thousand vermilion torii gates leading to the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari. The most important shrine dedicated to Inari, the Shinto God of Rice, throughout the shrine’s grounds you will find a multitude of fox statues, thought to be the messengers of Inari.
