Mumbai, India
This tour takes you to the bustling Worli fishing village, where the old ways of life still continue. Mumbai – or Heptanesia, as the Greeks called it, used to be made up of seven separate isles.
Worli was one of these original islands, inhabited by the Kolis, a community of fisherfolk.
You can watch the morning catch come in, walk through the markets, and understand the daily life and rituals of the fishermen.
Visit the Worli Fort, built by the British in 1675, standing as a reminder of dashing tales of piracy on the Western Coast.
