The Hitachi Seaside Park

A visual feast rivalled by few others, the Hitachi Seaside Park is one of Japan’s most popular flower parks and tourist destinations.

No matter the season of your visit, you will find amazing flowers in splendorous bloom awaiting you; in spring, visitors are treated to a blanket of white and baby blue hues, while the fall months transform the park into a carpet of crimson.

The park itself is most famous for its blue nemophilias, a one of a kind spring-time delight with out of this world transparent blue petals. In the spring time, more than 4.5 million of these blue nemophilias bloom all over the park – this period is known as ‘Nemophilia Harmony’ and attracts visitors from around the world.
