Tibet
Shangri-La. The Land of Snows. The Roof of the World. Many have heard of the many wonders of the glorious Tibet, but few have been so lucky as to have witnesses the towering Himalayan peaks of the mysterious Buddhist kingdom in person. Those who have, generally find themselves reluctant to leave. And for good reason, as the breathtaking country of Tibet offer a pristine landscape seeped in enchanting traditions, made only more enticing by the gentle peoples that inhabit this great land.
For centuries to whisper the word Tibet, was to inspire visions of spiritual quests through a land far removed from the Western distractions, images of treasures and riches buried within a forbidden land, and more recently, excited thoughts of breathtaking hikes through a pristine world yet unspoiled by the hands of tourism.
Above all, Tibet is a land where destruction and growth go hand in hand; a world where everything is invigorating and nothing is forgettable.
